These Terms cover Phonimo, operated by Guilherme Passero.

The service

Phonimo helps you practice English pronunciation. Feedback is guidance, not a professional, medical, educational, or language-certification assessment. We support clear speech and comparison with a reference without treating legitimate accents as wrong.

Accounts and age

Protect your account and give accurate information. Ages 16–17 may use Free. You must confirm you are 18+ to buy or restore Phonimo 10× Recording.

Recording and availability

Recording is optional. Free recording time resets Monday at 00:00 UTC. Audio sent for assessment uses your allowance, rounded up to whole Azure-billed seconds per recording. When time runs out, you can still listen, use text activities, skip, and navigate.

Acceptable use

Do not disrupt the service, bypass safety or recording limits, submit illegal material, or try to access someone else’s account. We may restrict abusive use while respecting your legal rights.

Privacy, deletion, and changes

The Privacy notice explains data use and retention. Deleting your account removes linked active-database records but does not cancel Google Play billing. Important Terms changes get a new version that you must accept before buying or restoring again.

Recording availability

Free recording uses shared weekly and monthly capacity and can become temporarily unavailable even when you have personal minutes remaining. A service-wide emergency limit can temporarily stop recording for all plans, including paid plans. The app shows the reset time. Listening and text activities remain available. An interruption does not automatically pause Google Play billing or renewal. Manage or cancel your subscription in Google Play; contact support@phonimo.app for help or to request review of a refund for an interruption. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
